My Opinion about Drug Rehab

September 9th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

For years I have seen successful stories about how smokers keep themselves from smoking, but I have heard little about how drug addicted people save their lives by themselves. Then, you may ask: what is the difference between smoking and drug addiction? And why can not people recover from drug addiction?

Well, I am not saying that it is not possible. It is hard, really hard. For those of you who do not smoke or drug like me, I say it is good for you. Although I am not an expert in smoking or drug addiction, I do know drugs destroy people physically, mentally, spiritually and morally. Once you are in, you are not likely to get rid of it. And my suggestion is never ever touch drugs.

And for those of you who are already drug addicted, I say please do not feel discouraged. In the past years, we have Client-Centered Approaches, Cognitive Models of Addiction Recovery or Emotion Regulation and so on. And now, we have Drug Rehab–Drug Rehabilitation.

According to the Wikipedia, drug rehabilitation is “a term for the processes of medical and/or psychotherapeutic treatment”. In the eyes of the Narconon program, which is “based on research and breakthroughs in the field of drug rehabilitation”, drug rehabilitation is a long process that helps people realize he or she is now safe and in a completely new environment. The good news is Narconon program now has a success rate over 70%.

A drug free life and family is what we want and looking for. The earlier you get rid of drugs, the better you life and family would be. And if you live in New Mexico, do not forget to check out the New Mexico drug rehab.
